Entry Policy
Entry/exit searches and the right to search whilst inside the venue or smoking area is a condition of entry to 118 Curtain Road. The entry search is mandatory, the others will be at the discretion of venue management.
All customers are required to present their ID on entry. Strictly no ID, no entry. Last Entry is 11pm. Anyone attending post this time will be refused entry without guarantee of a refund. Please ensure you arrive early
Management reserve the right to refuse entry.
Age & ID
The minimum age to attend an event is 18. 118 Curtain Road operates a Challenge 25 policy.
Upon arrival, please have your photo ID ready.Please ensure you bring a valid form of photo
ID – passport or driving license. Photos/copies are not accepted as valid forms of ID for entry.
Search
Being searched is a condition of entry to the venue to protect your safety and that of others. Every customer will be subject to a full body and bag search to gain entry to the venue.
118 Curtain Road SIA security staff will conduct searches of person, clothing, bags and other items which we reasonably determine at our own discretion on entry and exit.
118 Curtain Road reserve the right to disallow, within the venue, items which may be illegal or which, in our reasonable opinion, may cause danger or disruption to the event, or other patrons (regardless of whether or not such items are illegal or carried for a specific purpose), or are otherwise prohibited pursuant to these terms and conditions, including, without limitation, food and beverages (other than as required on proven medical grounds).
Anyone found in possession of illegal or contraband may also be liable for prosecution. All items left with security before entry into the venue are left at your own risk.

1. Products banned under the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016, including nitrous oxide
2. Fireworks, explosives, smoke bombs, canisters, or flares
3. CBD oil (permitted only in unopened, branded, and labeled bottles with contents containing no more than 0.2% THC)
4. E-liquid (only allowed if it is easily identifiable)
5. Airhorns
6. Paint spray
7. Marker pens
8. Lasers
9. Work tools
10. Weapons or potential weapons, including knives
11. Drones/UAVs
12. Generators
13. Speakers
14. Unofficial tabards or reflective jackets
Re-entry
118 Curtain Road has a no re-entry policy
Drugs 118 Curtain Road operates a zero tolerance policy to drugs. Anyone found with illegal drugs will be banned from the venue and reported to the police. Anyone found to be asking for drugs or offering drugs will also be banned for life. We will have drug disposal bins in the queues so you can deposit any drugs you may have with you
Anyone found to be in possession of a weapon will be banned from the venue and the police will be called.
Food & drink
Food and drink are not permitted to be brought into the venue. However, should you have specific dietary requirements, please contact us in advance to arrange to bring your own
Chewing gum
The venue operates as a photographic and event space during the week, to ensure no sticky marks are left on the floors, chewing gum is not permitted and will be confiscated at the door.
Dress code
118 Curtain Road operates a relaxed dress-code. Trainers / jeans / shorts are welcome.
Prescription medication
We allow prescription medication but customers should contact the venue on info@curtaincall.london in advance. The customer should bring the box with the prescription slip displayed.
Cloakroom
118 Curtain Road operates a card only cloakroom. We are not able to accommodate oversized items so please leave large items, like suitcases, at home. We always recommend taking a photo of your cloakroom ticket in case of loss.
Cash point / ATM
118 Curtain Road does not have a cashpoint inside the venue. The nearest cashpoint is a few minutes walk on Shoreditch High Street
Bars & drinking water
Bars are situated around the venue at 118 Curtain Road. Our bars only accept card payments. Free drinking water is available from event bar.
Smoking area
118 Curtain Road provides a smoking area for guests. As a duty of care to the local residents, we ask that all guests keep noise to a minimum when in the smoking area.
Mobile phones & theft
As you may be aware, phone thieves and pickpockets often target London nightclubs. Please take care of your handbag and phone.
Photography
Photography is permitted only via your smartphone.
Ear safety
Our sound system is delivered to a high specification and at volume. Please protect your hearing 118 Curtain Road provides free earplugs at all bars.
Lost property If you lose anything during an 118 Curtain Road event please email us at info@curtaincall.london with a full description of the item. We keep lost property items for 4 weeks, after this we donate any unclaimed items to charity.
Welfare and Safety
118 Curtain Road is a safe space for all to enjoy their night, no one should be harassed, made to feel unsafe or uncomfortable. If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please speak to any member of our team and they will work with you to make sure you can continue to enjoy your night. All our security and welfare teams are trained in support.
If at any point during the evening you need medical assistance, or just a time out if everything is getting too much, please speak to any member of staff or security who will be able to assist you. We have a dedicated welfare area and medic on-site at every event. The welfare staff will be wearing a purple bib.
Let’s look after each other
· Never accept a drink from anyone you do not know or do not completely trust.
· Don’t leave your drink unattended, even when going to the toilet.
· Be aware that if you’ve already been drinking, you may be less aware of any danger and therefore more vulnerable.
· Stay with your friends and consider very carefully whether you should leave the venue with someone you have just met.
· If you begin to feel unwell or disoriented seek help from a trusted friend, a member of staff or the security team.
· Please do not bring high value items to the club; put your belongings into the cloakroom on arrival.

If you experience or witness anything at our venue that indicates that we have not delivered on our promises then please get in touch with us via the following methods:
On the night: Ask any member of staff to be introduced to the event manager in attendance at every event.
Afterwards: info@curtaincall.london and we will respond to your complaint during weekday office hours.
